Test result

≈ −45 % of the 5-hour limit for the same task list.

Measured against Claude Code with two token-saving plugins already installed: caveman and context-mode.

Calculated: 25 % read from the limit, minus about 0.6 points of other usage on the Grace account · 2 Grace runs crashed at start

5-hour limit used for the same 34 tasks

Weekly limit used

Quality: hidden criteria met

higher is better · the 31 tasks both runs finished

Claude alone vs with Grace, as a table
Measure Claude + caveman + context-mode With Grace
5-hour limit used for the same 34 tasks 44 % 25 %
Weekly limit used 7 % 4 %
Quality: hidden criteria met 94 % 91 %
Two Claude Max 20x accounts, same hours · Claude Opus 5.5 · September 29, 2026 · baseline: Claude with two token-saving plugins
  • ≈ 82–100 % more work in the same limit

Calculated from the limit value above (2 Grace runs crashed at start): ≈ 82 % more. On 8 of the 31 tasks both runs finished, at least twice as much: 2.0× to 2.7×, calculated from Claude’s cost per task (quality on those: 94 % with Grace, 95 % Claude alone). 1 more such task is not counted because of its quality (45 % with Grace, 86 % Claude alone).

  • 5 % less time

7 h 51 min with Grace, 8 h 18 min Claude alone: the time of the 31 tasks both runs finished, added up. Grace was faster on 15 of them; quality on these 31: 91 % with Grace, 94 % Claude alone.

All measurements

Tested on 248 different tasks

1,828 valid runs, Sep 13 – 29, 2026, while we built Grace; earlier series used development versions. That shows how much we tested, not the saving: the result above comes from the final test with the release version, the same 34 tasks on two Claude Max 20x accounts.

What Grace means for your plan

Work per 5-hour window, calculated · Pro = 1×without →  with Grace

  • Max 5x

    5× → 9.1 to 10×

  • Max 20x

the test ran on this plan

    20× → 36 to 40×

  • Pro

    1× → 1.82 to 2×

Calculated from the Max 20x test; Pro and Max 5x use Anthropic’s plan multiples. How the ranges are calculated

Low end
the ≈ −45 % above
High end
on 8 of the 31 tasks both runs finished, Claude’s cost with Grace was at least 50 % lower · quality on those: 94 % with Grace, 95 % Claude alone

How you use it

  1. Install once

One command in Terminal. It signs your Mac in, checks your subscription and asks before it installs anything.

  2. Type your task as usual

No command, no new workflow. Grace sees whether it is a new project or work on an existing one: a new project it builds in your projects folder (the one you name during setup), next to your other projects, and says so; changes to existing projects it takes over as well. Say “without Grace” and Claude does it alone.

  3. Your limit lasts longer

In our test the same task list used less of the 5-hour limit, with slightly lower quality — both are measured above.

Works alongside your plugins, MCP servers and skills.

Grace switches none of them off — they keep working in your Claude Code session. New projects Grace builds follow your CLAUDE.md rules, without your other plugins. Your deny rules (permissions.deny) apply to Grace too. A few plugins bring their own file-editing tools and compete with Grace; /grace:grace-plugins shows whether you have one.

Grace never sends us your code.

It contacts us only to sign in your Mac, download Grace and check your subscription. Claude sees what it needs, as it does without Grace.

Questions

Does quality suffer?

A little. On the 31 tasks both runs finished, Grace’s results met 91 % of the hidden acceptance criteria, Claude alone 94 %. Quality, level by level

What was Grace tested against?

Against Claude with the token-saving plugins caveman and context-mode, not against bare Claude — on the same 34 tasks. A saving against that is a saving on top of what careful users already do. How we measured

What do I need?

A Mac with Apple silicon, and Claude Code with your own Claude Pro or Max plan — or the Claude API on the API plan. Grace does not replace your plan. The installer adds Node.js if it is missing.

How do I get Grace running, also after a reinstall?

Run the install command from the download page in your Terminal. It signs this Mac in, checks your subscription, installs what is missing and updates Grace — the same after reinstalling Claude Code or on a new Mac. Then restart Claude Code. If 2 Macs are already signed in, remove one in your account first. If something is missing later, /grace:grace-einrichten in Claude Code checks and fixes it. Install Grace

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. Grace runs to the end of the period you paid for. The first payment is not refundable once the download of Grace has begun — you agree to this with a box when ordering.

Set up with one command.

in Terminal

Read the script first
$ /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://parsimic.com/install.sh)"

Usually under 2 minutes if Node.js is already installed (our estimate).
